Sunny day in March.
Warm temperatures, thin breeze of icy wind gusts release concentrated in winter and pinned to the ground and cut his face.
Clay soil, typical of the Mediterranean, widespread in southern Italy. dry and wet at the same time, where in recent days rain and frost have done the last of winter backlash.
Ideal atmosphere for an artistic work in which gaze, attention and a lot of concentration were collected and then released in a camera, where colors, lights and shadows would have surrounded the nuances of the glasses worn by two beauties from ecstatic flavor and with Mediterranean features.
The burden of taking for the shooting of ESSEDUE collection, Spring / summer 17, the theme “MVD – Minimal Vintage Design” (places and traditions of our roots and inspiration in design) was welcomed by Peppe Tortora, international photographer, known for shooting in large format, trained in Paris and New York, the magazine’s founder www.grey-magazine.com, who took, among others, Ana Beatriz Barros, Romee Strijd and Meghan Collison, whose interests across touch the art, fashion, landscapes and video maker.
And, last but not least, two dogs a few months, disheveled, undisciplined, have handled the shooting.
In the afternoon, we were be in an old brick factory in the countryside. The colors from gray green Mediterranean are blurred candidly to the white and the concrete: a context appropriate to single out for attention to the colors of the faces and glasses.
